Join the Salem Paddy Pint 10k, 5k and kids dash! It’s a fundraiser to support The Dental Foundation of Oregon and their Tooth Taxi, which provides children in our local community with free dental care and oral health education. The 10K will start in Riverfront Park with the 5K event and will loop through Wallace Marine Park. Each registered participant gets a free long sleeve tee, and in the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, Sparky's Brewing Company will be on site providing food and beverages for participants.

The Céilí of the Valley hosts an annual St. Patrick’s Walk-About, rain or shine. The walk-about leaves promptly at noon from the Riverfront Park Carousel. Leprechauns and all those Irish at heart are invited. Bring your friends and family. Dress up in your most fun ‘green wear!’ Céilí of the Valley Society will also have some fun green wear to share. Follow Willamette Valley Pipe and Drums for a sidewalk procession through downtown Salem. Céilí of the Valley Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and perpetuating Irish heritage and culture in the Willamette Valley through social events that incorporate music and dance.

Every year the Irish and the Irish-at-heart across the globe observe St. Patrick’s Day. What began as a religious feast for the patron saint of Ireland has become an international festival celebrating Irish culture with parades, dancing, special foods and all things green! Enjoy a  St. Patrick’s Tea and look forward to lifting our tea cups in a toast to the Irish traditions. Have fun learning some Irish lore during the three-course high tea. Come long for the home tour after the tea!

Set menus, no substitutions available. Tickets are non-refundable. Pre-registration is required as there are limited seats available. Tickets are $38 per person.

Come experience Cherry Blossom Day at the Oregon State Capitol! This rain or shine event celebrates the blossoming cherry trees on the Capitol Mall, the cherry industry and the impact of the Japanese culture on our state. Events include a Japanese Tea Ceremony, Bonsai displays and demonstrations, vintage Japanese toys and games, fish printing, Kabuto helmets, and more! Free and open to the public.
