The students of American Ballet Academy perform and children’s rendition of Alice in Wonderland. With beautiful costumes and sets, classical scores, energetic young dancers, and accomplished advanced dancers, this promises to be a magical event! All profits will be donated to Court Appointed Special Advocates for Youth, Marion County to help local foster children.

Wine tasting, live music and classic cars! What more could dad want this Father’s Day? Bring your own classic car to enter in one of three categories for $15, or vote for your favorite! The $15 admission includes wine tasting and the car show, or enter your own classic car for $20!

This iconic summer event is an old timey ice cream social with a side of running.  Both 5k and 10k courses are flat trails through a natural setting and along the Willamette River. Ice cream sundaes are included in registration, which is limited to 400. After online registration ends, check wvroadrunners.org for status; day of race registration is $20, 6PM at the Minto shelter. Bib pickup starts at 5:30PM.

Founded more than 20 years ago this year to promote cultural awareness and understanding in Salem, the World Beat Festival is a celebration of international music, dance, food, and crafts! Enjoy experiences from every continent with performances, demonstrations, workshops, and of course the Dragon Boat Races. Admission is $5 a person, kids under 14 are free.

July 3

Enjoy great food, drinks, live music and a beautiful fireworks display planned by the Oregon Garden Foundation & presented by Roth’s Fresh Markets at the Oregon Garden in Silverton. Family friendly activities include face painting, a bounce house, balloon artist and lawn games. Food trucks will be on hand to quench a variety of cravings. Admission is $12 for adults, $6 for kids and kids under 4 get in free! After 5pm, admission is free for everyone, with just a $5 suggested donation per family.
